Grandmother Nonna.....

Yeah.... Grandmothers grieve too.

I just wish people would understand it.

My mum loved Thea right from the word go.  As she has loved Luca and Gero.  She has loved them as her very own children. (maybe even more ;) )  At Thea's mass she was the only one that cried out loud....she kissed Thea's grave saying "Amore di Nonna".  (Grandmother's love).  She says the same thing to Luca and Gero.

For a strong and cold person as she usually is.  Very stuborn and set in her ways her grandchildren (all three of them) have the power to change her.  Make her go soft and silly.

She's lost a love..... she's missing a part of her wonderful trio.  I'm just so sorry to have given her such pain.

No one cares about me more than a mother can.... no one loves Thea more than a grandmother can.  I wish people could understand that.  They don't have a cold, strong stuborn woman in front of them when it comes to things related to Thea.  They have a soft, silly and grieving person that can't stand the thought of her granddaughter in a little white coffin.

I would love to shout it out into a person's face.... that was supposedly offended that my mother hadn't told her about Thea's mass.  Why would anyone, who is actually atheist, be offended ?  Not talk to my mum too?  Hasn't she gone through enough?
