B sta per Neonata, Fratelli, Lutto, seppoltura, nascita e benedizione
Baby.
Potevi andare a casa.
Sboccia piccola mia. Sboccia bellissima bambina mia.
B is for Baby, Brothers, Bereavement, Burial, Birth and Blessing.
Baby. My Baby girl. The little girl I miss every day and the baby girl I love so much.... the one I was waiting for with all my heart.... and wanted to meet in a completely different way.
Brothers. Luca and Gero. The two little men in your life. The ones that would have loved and cared for you. They were so upset when they found out you weren't coming home. They always think of you... and mention you and I'm SO happy they do. I wish they would have met you too. They often ask me what you were like. All I can say is that you look like both of them.
I look at them.... and think.... I will never be able to get one of those famous pictures. You know the ones from the tallest to the shortest. Our little pink step will always be missing.
Bereavement. I never ever thought I would be a bereaved mother. To tell the truth, I think that a son or daughter could be taken away by a horrid illness, car accident, sids anything could happen. I was totally ignorant to Stillbirth. I knew it existed. I just never thought I would ever have to have anything to do with it personally. I didn't want to be a bereaved mother. I just wanted to be a 'normal' one like I've been till a few months ago.
I wish people would undestand I'm a bereaved mother and not a depressed person!
Burial. I wasn't there. I'm so sorry I wasn't. I wanted to be present in everything that had something to do with you. Thinking about it now. I could have asked your daddy to have the coffin taken home and then have the burial done the day after. You could have come home. Or maybe it was best to have your burial the day after you were born. I don't know anymore.
Your
birth ..... is something I would do again and again just to see you just that once more. I would go through that pain, don't know how many times, just to be able to actually say just once.... "I want to hold her". Just once.... I would have said "I want to kiss her". I didn't say those things....and I regret it SO much!
You becoming a part of our family was a
blessing. The three of you are a blessing. You're not here with us, I'll never see you grow, I'll never see the colour of your eyes, your smile, your first tooth.... You are still a great blessing to me. Maybe you were sent to us to teach us a lesson. We shouldn't take things for granted. We shouldn't think things are easy..... and that nothing is forever. I learn't my lesson well... I just wish you weren't the one that had to be in the middle of it all.
Blessing is what the priest gave you and said "Thea is a little flower that couldn't blossom here on earth with her mother, father and brothers. She will bloom in the garden of GOD".
Blossom
baby girl.
Blossom
Beautiful
Baby.
